RONKER doesn't do difficult, so neither does it do “difficult seconds”. What do you do when the steel is constantly in the fire? Strike while the iron is hot! Thanks to their broad musical palette, where “anything goes” is the norm, the speed noisers have carved out a unique place for themselves on the Belgian scene. On their second album, the band sounds more ambitious and mature than ever without denying their melting pot mentality. An album written about rock & roll. An album about chewing on the bone until all the marrow is gone. An album that reads like a book. Where else would you release it but at the Ancienne Belgique?

After playing the club to smithereens, now it's time for the AB box to take a beating. Without a doubt the biggest headline show of the band's career. Expect horns, bells and extra RONK. As the band itself says, ‘Respect the hustle.’

RONKER doet niet aan moeilijk doen, dus ook geen “moeilijke tweede platen”. Wat doe je als het staal constant in het vuur ligt? Slaan terwijl het ijzer heet is! Dankzij hun brede muzikale palet, waar “alles kan” de norm is, hebben de speed noisers een unieke plek voor zichzelf veroverd op de Belgische scène. Op hun tweede album klinkt de band ambitieuzer en rijper dan ooit, zonder hun smeltkroes-mentaliteit te verloochenen. Een album geschreven over rock & roll. Een album over het kauwen op het bot totdat al het merg op is. Een album dat leest als een boek. Waar anders zou je het uitbrengen dan in de Ancienne Belgique?

Na het clubpubliek tot op de grond te hebben gespeeld, is het nu tijd dat de AB-box een pak slaag krijgt. Zonder twijfel de grootste headline-show uit de carrière van de band. Verwacht hoorns, bellen en extra RONK. Zoals de band zelf zegt: ‘Respect the hustle.’
