Grupa Laibach singlom “Allgorhythm” najavljuje objavu novog albuma “MUSICK”, a pratit će ga i europska turneja u sklopu koje dolaze u zagrebački klub Boogaloo u petak 16. listopada 2026.
The group Laibach announce the release of their new album MUSICK with the single Allgorhythm, and it will be accompanied by a European tour that includes a stop at Zagreb’s Boogaloo club on Friday, 16 October 2026.
The new album MUSICK is Laibach’s first full-length studio release of original material since the album Spectre from 2014. The album will be released on 1 May 2026 by the British label Mute, on vinyl, CD, and in digital format.
With this album, Laibach simultaneously celebrates and playfully critiques the contemporary era of distorted reality and artificial intelligence, offering a collection of undeniably infectious pop music that surrenders itself to hyper-intensive postmodernity. The album title MUSICK contains the key to this duality. It speaks of oversaturation—of being saturated with music in a time when there is so much of it that we can barely engage with it meaningfully anymore. Every day, more than 100,000 new songs are uploaded to the internet, and an ever-growing number of them are created with the help of artificial intelligence—resulting in increasing amounts of so-called digital waste.
As with many aspects of contemporary life, simply listening to music today forces us to question reality itself. MUSICK expresses this pathological condition through elusive sounds and references, but it also speaks of another kind of illness: a pathological devotion to music—an “obsession, a kind of drug”—that continues to drive Laibach even in this age of oversaturation.
