for many years Texas trio Ak’chamel has built a solid reputation as a compelling stage project. Wearing nightmarish costumes and engaging in hallucinatory “rituals”, their singular sound comprising desert-scorched psychedelia, post-apocalyptic shamanism, and lo-fi ritual-folk is as unique as the physical theater of their live performances.

Fourth world post-colonial cultural cannibalists, they perform in homemade costumes and masks and have played festivals in various cities around the US and Europe including , Roadburn & Le Guess Who? gaining international traction from Vice, The Wire, Tiny Mix Tapes, Consequence of Sound, and many more.
